Frugal Tip Of The Day - Salvaging Stale Taco Shells

I ate all the Fritos. I ran out of Tostitos Scoops. I'm eating Texas Caviar (my favorite healthy dip) with broken up bits of old, stale taco shells
that I re-crisped in the microwave. All I did was put the shell pieces on a plate, microwave them on high for 1 minute, and now they're ready to use as dip chips.

It's made me think. I have some corn flour. I'm wondering if I could make my own tortillas, cut them into small circles, stick them into tiny little muffin tins, and make my own "scoops". They would be salt free, and much healthier than those bought in the store.

Maybe somehow I could even use the rest of those stale taco shells. I'll let you know how it goes.
UPDATE:  This did not work well at all, and is way too much trouble.  Just buy the Scoops.
