Frugal Tip Of The Day - Soup Starters

Keep all your bits of leftover veggies in a large container in the freezer. Keep leftover meats separated in others. When you have enough, use it to make soup. My mother always did this, and I do it as well. It's really saved my hide a couple of times when I had unexpected company and little extra food money. A nice vegetable soup with cornbread is something everyone loves, and is very economical as well.
